Project Description: 

I plan to present a solo cello concert where I can perform some of my favorite pieces for solo cello. Alongside the music, I want to have the audience participate in a game of musical bingo. I would provide bingo cards with various musical items. At the beginning of the program I could give a brief explanation of the more technical terms and then begin to play. As I play, they would mark on their bingo cards things they hear, for example pizzicato, bariolage, or a repeat. This way the audience could remain not only engaged with the music, but also attentive to details they might not normally notice.  

Repertoire:

  • Bach Suite in C Major for solo cello

  • Cassado Suite for solo cello
