Windwood Music Festival takes place on Treaty 7 territory. We acknowledge this land as the traditional home of the Blackfoot Confederacy, including the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai, the Tsuut’ina Nation and Stoney-Nakoda Nations, including the Goodstoney, Chiniki, and Bearspaw, and the People of Métis Nation of Alberta, District 4. We remain committed to fighting for Indigenous rights as a necessary guiding principle towards decolonization and reconciliation.

We recognize that we still have much to learn and work on in the path to reconciliation. It is in this spirit that we offer free tickets to Indigenous folks to attend any of our events. We also welcome all Indigenous folks to participate in our events, and encourage people to reach out if they are interested in collaborating with the Windwood Music Festival.

We strive to make all our events accessible. If you have any barriers to attending any of our concerts, please don't hesitate to contact us at windwoodmusicfestival@gmail.com!
