“I’m at a loss for words”
I’m rarely sit down and think, I’m at a loss for words, I don’t know how to say this. I like words the same way I like music in that there’s always an opportunity to connect and find connection, to find the “us” in a moment. There’s such a sense of reciprocal generosity when people share in a moment, it takes such courage and such vulnerability.
But Airdrie, I’m at a loss for words. I don’t know how to say how meaningful yesterday was, how moving it was to sow the seeds of a dream and share in those moments with you. You really came, I can’t believe you really came. And you laughed, and you drew, and you talked to us and shared a piece of yourself. You are wonderful and so colorful, and gosh it’s so nice to meet you.
We’re here to stay Airdrie, thanks for turning our opening concert into a homecoming. This is your festival and it could not be in better hands.
